A migraine is a condition which is characterised by recurrent headaches that are moderate to severe. 2. Massage your neck and head

Massage in the neck and head regions can help to relax taught bands of tissue, loosening the muscles attached to the base of the skull, which causes pain through the tension that travels up through the back of the head and into the eye areas.

3. Temperature therapy

Apply hot or cold compresses to your neck and head. Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect.

4. Unwind at the end of the day

Spend a me-time for yourself. Take a deep breath and try picture a calming image.
