This young Venezuelan girl is the latest internet sensation thanks to her incredible soprano voice that has captivated thousands of people.
A video of Gaby Páez performing the famous aria “Nessun Dorma” from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot has caught the attention of many people on Twitter when the video starts to make rounds.
The popular aria is extremely popular among the opera-goers and it once shot into stardom after legendary opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti performed it.
It is certainly not easy when a famous singer has done a successful cover of the song but it looks like Gaby has at least surpassed the expectation!
However, her success story did not happen overnight. Gaby has actually gone through many obstacles before she found her fame
The young Venezuelan arrived in Chile’s capital, Santiago two years ago after suffering from the collapse of her country’s economy.
Before she migrated to Chile, Gaby was pursuing singing at a professional level but due to the poor economy, she could no longer able to afford her studies
In Santiago, she earns her living by working as a waitress and hostess of events.
Nevertheless, the young lady never forgets her true passion—singing
After her video went viral, one Chilean philanthropist Leonardo Farkas was so impressed by Gaby’s vocal that he donated one million Chilean pesos (US$1,600) to Gaby for her to continue her studies.
Offers and work proposals also started to pour in and for Gaby, she was truly grateful for the miracle to happen
