Mother’s love is the greatest. 98-year-old mom moves to care home to look after her 80-year-old son

A mother’s love is forever unconditional and there is nothing stronger than a bond between a mother and her child. This amazing 98-year-old mom, Ada Keating decides to look after her ailing 80-year-old son, Tom and stay with him at a care home in Liverpool.

Tom worked as a painter and decorator at HE Building Services before he retired. He lived with his mother before he went to be a resident at Moss View care home as he required more support due to his old age.

Ada joined Tom at the care home soon after he went to stay there

Philip Daniels whom is the manager of the care home said that it was very touching to see Ada and Tom’s close relationship and that they are happy for the two to stay there. “It’s very rare to see mothers and their children together in the same care home and we certainly want to make their time together as special as possible.”

Ada said, “I say goodnight to Tom in his room every night and I’ll go and say good morning to him.”

She also said, “When I go out to the hairdressers, he’ll look for me to see when I’m coming back. When I get back, he’ll come to me with his arms outstretched and give me a big hug.”

Tom said that he really loves for his mom to stay with him at the care home as she is good at taking care of him.  His mom even say “Behave yourself!” to him sometimes

Tom also has older sisters, Margi and Barbara whom visits him and their mom regularly at the care home.

It seems like it was not only the staffs at the care home express their admiration of their relationship, netizens are also struck in awe with the strong bond between this affectionate mother and her loving son

Tom is so lucky to have his caring mom beside him in their golden age. Ada is also glad to be able to take care of her son. After all, like Ada said, “You never stop being a mom.”
