16-month-old female giant panda, Bao Bao is the most excited when the winter comes since the cold weather means she can roll down the snowy slope all day long.
The young giant panda just had her first experience playing in the snow when the adorable moment was captured on film.
Bao Bao was filmed 3 years ago playing and rolling down the hill at Smithsonian’s National Zoo during a snowfall. She spent almost all day long playing in the snow
In the footage, the giant panda playfully tumbles down the hill in the snow-covered yard of her outdoor enclosure.
She also had fun collecting snow and pouncing on her mother, Mei Xiang
The footage of her playing in the snow for the very first time was later posted on YouTube by the zoo.
The video’s caption writes, “As the year’s first blanket of snow coated the Washington, D.C. area today, giant panda Bao Bao spent much of the morning playing in it for the very first time.”
“The sixteen-month-old panda cub tumbled down the hill in her outdoor enclosure, climbed trees and pounced on her mother Mei Xiang
Our great cats, seals and wolves also enjoyed the wintry weather.”
The video quickly went viral with over 6 million views on YouTube alone as the viewers just could not get enough of the adorable moment when the giant panda discovered snow for the first time.
