Survivalist demonstrates how to start a fire with a lemon

What happens when you are stuck in the wilderness in the middle of the night without any sources of fire to light your way out to escape?

Well, if you happen to have a lemon, copper clips, zinc nails, wire, and some steel wool, you can build your own fire.

According to survivalist YouTube channel “NorthSurvival”, you can build your own fire by using the above materials and apparently, it is not as hard as you think it is.

In the video, the YouTube channel demonstrated how to utilise a lemon to generate some electricity.

Even if you do not have zinc and copper clips or nails, you can also use copper and zinc coins.

First, insert copper clips or coins into the lemon in a line, leaving a one-centimeter gap between them

Then, insert the zinc nails into the lemon in the same manner as the copper clips

Proceed by connecting the first copper clip to the second zinc nail with a wire

Continue connecting each copper clip and zinc nail together like in the picture below and also a wire at both ends of the lemon

Stick the wires into some steel wool with some shredded dry tissue

Now, all you need to do is to wait for a fire to ignite the tissue from the sparks of the heated steel wool!
