Located in Ho Chi Minh City, the one and only cafe, Amix Cafe, has been attracting attention from both local and international level for its truly refreshing concept.
The customers can enjoy sipping their drinks and eating desserts while various fish swim around their feet
While the exterior of the cafe looks like any other typical cafes in the area, the customers actually have to take off their shoes if they wish to enter the cafe
The floor of the restaurant which is fully covered by ankle-deep water makes the perfect pool for the Japanese carps to swim in
The brilliant idea came from owner Nguyen Duoc Hoa, 23, after he was inspired by the idea of a cafe where the customers can enjoy petting cats and dogs
In an interview with EFE, he said, “I wanted to create a unique concept, that did not exist in any other place.
“I am from a coastal city, I love fish and thought it was a good way to create a business combining innovation and my hobby.”
However, he admitted that turning the idea into a reality was not easy. in order to keep the water clean and fresh for the carps, a triple filtration system is needed to pump the water every 12 hours.
Nevertheless, his idea has clearly kicked off to a good start as customers have been flocked into the cafe since the opening to experience the unique concept
