Well, bigger doesn’t always mean better and that is clearly what this lady had in mind when she decided on a 140-square-foot house! Vina Lustado was a designer borned in the Philippines to one big family before eventually emigrated to the United States.

Vina explained to Calmful Living that she believes her house hardly lacks amenities even though it is small.

Vina surely found happiness in the little things as she was satisfied and happy with her tiny 140-square-foot house located in Ojai, California. She even planned to live in this house forever!

The small house might be a way for one to be mindful and reassess things that are really valuable to us as there is no extra space.

“I am one of the nine children. We live in a very modest lifestyle because we didn’t have much money at all. When I came here, I basically just learn to live pretty simply and minimally,” said Vina.
