When it comes to moving furniture and valuables, honesty is the most important trait to have.

You’ll never know if you could accidentally leave something extremely sentimental or precious behind by mistake.

So one owner was extremely grateful when Jake returned a huge sum of cash they had accidentally left in their cupboard!

“This is Mr Jake. One of our best man. We would like to express our gratitude to him for his honesty which not many would have done the same especially honesty is very important in our industry where customer entrusts their furniture and belongings to us.

“Jake, while doing a move in one of our customer premises, found a total amount of $50k cash wrapped up in a plastic bag at a corner in a cabinet.”

“This money is believed to be forgotten by our customer. Jake, made the best move and decision to return the money in whole amount to the customer.

“Once again, thank you Jake for your honesty and we hope you will be with us for many many years more,” Prestige Moving Services wrote in a post on Facebook.

Without thinking, Jake immediately tracked down the customer to return their money to them.

And now the internet is calling for Jake to get a pay rise.

“Sometimes, the nicest people you meet are covered in tattoos & sometimes the most judgemental people you will meet, go to church on Sundays,” another said.

“Well done man. Never judge a book by its cover,” one added.
