Thanks to the recipe shared by Nur Halim, you too can become an expert ice cream maker in no time at all. It makes even more sense to make your own if you have a large household to feed. Here’s the whats and hows.

You will need:

  1. 1 can of evaporated milk
  2. 1/2 can of condensed milk (amount can be adjusted to your liking)
  3. 1 tablespoon ovalette (or any sponge cake stabilizer)
  4. 2 bottle caps of vanilla essence (use creamy vanilla for ideal flavor)
  5. 1 teaspoon corn flour

Add all the ingredients into a container or directly into the blender and blend until the mixture is thick and creamy.

Pour mixture into preferred container and store in the freezer for a few hours until it sets.

Voila! You have now prepared your very own ice cream. How easy is that?

Since this is a basic recipe, you can switch up and add in ingredients as per your liking.

For upgraded cookies and cream ice cream, add in crushed Oreos. Swirl reserved berry jams or fresh cut berries into your vanilla ice cream for a fruity punch. With some good ol’ chocolate syrup and chocolate chips, you have yourself the classic chocolate ice cream.

The possibilities are endless. Grab the ingredients and get ready to impress your friends with your ice cream making skills!
