Age plays an important role in our lives. It signifies our level of maturity and the experiences we have gained throughout. Some can be in their golden age and still be ‘young at heart’. While others can be half as young and have the wisdom of a monk. Of course, age is just a number but numbers can be important.
Here’s a test for you. Look at the image below. You’re about to find out your mental age, which refers to the actual age of your brain.
Before we begin, if you see dogs in the image, congratulations. They are indeed images of dogs. What we want to know is, how many dogs can you see exactly? Here are the answer options:
A. 4 dogs
If your answer is A, your mental age is 20-25 years old. You’re artistic and literary-inclined.

You enjoy fresh perspectives in life and often indulge in concerts, cafes and good reads. Noisy environments are not your thing. Simple thoughts keep your brain young.
B. 5 dogs
Do you see five dogs? That’s because you fall into a more matured age category. Your brain is around 25-30 years old.
You are the epitome of simplicity.

You don’t like to complicate things, be it a relationship or what to make for dinner. Your preference of social circle is small and again, simple hence the chances of you getting into trouble is low.
C. 6 dogs
Your brain is currently at the mid age range of 30-40 years old if you choose C as your answer option. You’re old-fashioned, cautious and trustworthy.

Your friends often seek advice from you because they think you’re mature and stable-minded. Your lowkey nature keeps you down to earth.
D. 7 dogs
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. If you see seven dogs in the image, you are literally a child. Your mental age capacity is 10-20 years old. What this means is that you’re naive in nature. You’re simple and kind, which is a reflection of your inner child. You can’t overcome difficulties by just accepting them, you need to give opinions about it.
This makes you an admirable friend among many.

Which mental age did you fall into? Do you think it speaks the truth of your nature?
